John, from Portsmouth UK, completed his advanced scaffolder training in 1987, working as a chargehand on many varied scaffolding projects including commercial, residential, as well as marine. He holds a National Certificate in Advanced Scaffolding along with a Site Safe Gold Card. John has worked on a variety of commerical projects including; Auckland Hospital, Sky City Convention Centre, University of Auckland Business School, Stamford Plaza, and Eden Park.

Bruce began his scaffolding career, in 1986, in Sydney, Australia at the time working predominantly on high-rise construction. He completed a Scaffolding Class 1 Certificate of Competency NSW and also holds a National Certificate in Advanced Scaffolding along with a Site Safe Gold Card. Bruce has been involved with numerous activities and various residential, commercial, as well as petrochemical projects; Marsden Point Oil Refinery, Portland Cement, Fonterra House, Princes Street and Mt Eden Prison, and Bruce has also worked on several film industry sets such as Xena and Hercules.
